X-RAY: Abdominal plain film in erect, same patient. There are multiple gas and fluid (air-fluid level) filled loops of small bowel locate in the upper aspect of the abdomen. The "step laddering" air-fluid levels and the prominent mucosal folds suggest obstruction, probably in the mid-jejunal region.
