X-RAY: Free air in the peritoneal cavity. PA chest in erect position. A curvilinear area of radiolucency (arrows) between the right hemidiaphragm and the right lobe of the liver represents free intraperitoneal area. There also is a small amount of free air beneath the left hemidiaphragm.
