SLIDE TRAY #8

X-RAY: Normal IVP. PA view of abdomen, 20 minutes after contrast agent injection. Contrast agent is seen in urinary collecting system bilaterally, showing cup-like calcycle, funnel-like pelves, linear ureters, and the bladder (which is indented by the bowel from above). A post-void film would complete this examination. (The routine exam is variable but usually consists of a scout film, 1 minute, 5 minute, and 10 minute post-injection film, and a post-void film. Tomography can be performed to see anatomy in greater detail.)
