RADIONUCLIDE SCAN: Short axis, vertical long axis, and horizontal long axis stress (upper) and rest (lower) images from a thallium scan. A reversible defect is present in the lateral wall on the short axis images consistent with ischemia. A non-reversible defect in the apex on the horizontal and vertical long axis images which represents infarction.
