SKELETAL TRAUMA:
X-RAY: Stress fracture of femur. Femur, tibia, fibula,
and metatarsal are common places to be involved. Radionuclide bone scanning
or MRI are very useful for diagnosis as plain x-rays can be negative in
some cases. There is a horizontal fracture (arrow) through the lateral
cortex of the proximal femur.
