X-RAY: Pulmonary bullae. PA film. Air spaces with arcuate walls are noted in left upper lobe and right lower lobe. The bullae are expanded air spaces within the lung parenchyma. Air cysts in the lung have two forms: Bullae -- air-containing space within the lung parenchyma, Bleb -- air containing space within the pleura.
